Cody Callon MSW, RSW completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Simon Fraser University and a Master of Social Work degree at the University of British Columbia. He has 15 years experience as a social worker and researcher in the field of addictions and mental health. Cody is the Community Service Coordinator at the Vancouver Healing Centre. He is also the Director of the British Columbia Centre on Substance Use (BCCSU) Addiction Social Work Fellowship and a Program Coordinator of the BCCSU’s Psychedelic Research Program. Cody’s therapeutic orientations include relational somatic therapy, compassionate inquiry, mindfulness based counseling, and motivational interviewing, where he addresses issues such as addiction, relationships, emotional pain, grief and loss, trauma, and personal growth. Cody also provides preparation and integration support for people using psychedelics and is currently a student in the California Institute of Integral Studies Psychedelic-assisted Psychotherapy and Research program. In life outside of work Cody is an active meditator and competitive ultramarathon runner.
